主要从事纳米功能材料与柔性薄膜材料的设计合成制备及其应用研究。目前主持国家自然科学基金1项,主持湖北省自然科学基金1项,湖北省人才计划项目1项,ESI学科建设重点项目2项,校级项目2项,企业横向1项,另参与国家自然科学基金,江苏省自然科学基金,韩国自然科学基金多个项目的研究;在《Chemical Engineering Journal》、《Journal of Catalysis》、《Nature》、《ACS Nano》、《Advanced Materials》等top期刊上发表SCI论文20余篇,参加国内外学术报告交流会议多次。
